About Me

Hello! My name is Lumen or Lu, I use He/They pronouns, and I am a digital artist! I currently attend CCS for illustration, and alongside that I am trying to curate an online presence for my art.For the majority of my experience, I've been working freelanced. Been doing commissions for the last 6 years and hope to continue doing them in between jobs. But, I've been working hard towards a job in the industry. I love visual development and animation clean-up! Currently working on a passion project comic/animation series about my own characters called End's Curse!I'm also an aspiring gamer, I love Minecraft and Fortnite and try to play in my free time. Also love collecting Smiskis and any other small and cute objects. If you ever lose me in a crowd, I am probably where there is food or where there is a semi-reasonable object to sleep on.

FAQ

When did you start drawing?

Since I could hold a crayon but when I was 11-12 I started drawing more consistently and by the time I was 14 I knew art is what I wanted to do.

What do you use to draw?

I use Clip Studio EX for all my works but switch between a Gaomon PD-160 PRO and an IPad 9th gen with a gen 1 Apple Pencil

How did you learn to draw?

I was entirely self taught up until the age of 18. Before then I used online resources like youtube and absorbed any information like a sponge. On top of that I drew almost everyday. Now I am attending CCS and working towards my BFA in illustration.
