Hello! My name is Lumen (He/They). I’m an illustrator, cartoonist and sequential/character artist based out of Detroit, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in 2026 in illustration. You may be familiar with my mascot Artie! I love drawing him whenever I can, so if you see him, I'm probably not far!For the majority of my career as an artist, I’ve mainly worked
freelanced. I’ve been working on personal and commercial work for a
decade now. A lot of this work is illustrations and thumbnails. I’m
always open to new work from new or returning clients. I also vend at several conventions/artist alleys and fairs. Right now, I’m heavily focused on working on comics and story art, like storyboarding. My first webcomic, My Best Friend is an Alien, is my first completed comic that I have been working on since January 2025.Besides drawing, I love to play video games and do crafts! I love Fortnite, Minecraft, RDR2 and the God of War series. And I’m currently working on my own fursuit!
